Threat protection

Detect threats from highly organized, deliberate attacks by cybercriminals using patented recurrent pattern detection. In combination with IP reputation, this hinders denial of service attacks while also assisting the content filter engines. It also prevents fraudulent activities and bot registration.

Outbound abuse prevention

Effectively handle compromised and abusive accounts to avoid blocklisting, without bothering legitimate users. This can be easily achieved by utilizing outbound anti-spam in combination with clustered rate limits.

Security features

Halon supports existing and emerging encryption standards such as MTA-STS, TLS-RPT and DANE, client certificates in both server and client, as well as granular TLS protocol, cipher control and SNI. Extensive support for signing and verification is of course also included, such as DKIM, DMARC and ARC.
