We are excited to unveil Halon Engage 13, a release packed with powerful new features and significant enhancements designed to elevate your email infrastructure capabilities. This version introduces several key updates aimed at improving the granularity of queue management, simplifying queue migration, and enriching delivery insights. Additionally, we’ve expanded our integration capabilities with new support for Amazon AWS SIGv4 and PROXY TLV.

Discover the key features and enhancements

  • TenantID queue segmentation - gain deeper insights and granularity for tracking and managing sender-specific issues.

  • Hqfmove - a new tool designed to make queue migration between hosts stress-free.

  • Delivery Insights microfixes - we’ve implemented a series of micro-fixes to upgrade the overall user experience.

  • Support for Amazon AWS SIGv4 - a crucial enhancement that significantly boosts security when logging to OpenSearch.

  • Support for PROXY TLV - uniquely identify your consumers with this new feature.

1. Navigate sender reputation standards effortlessly with TenantID queue segmentation

  • Overview: The new Tenant ID queue policy field allows for exceptional granularity in tracking and managing sender-specific issues within Halon Engage.
  • Functionality: The Tenant ID acts as a flexible identifier, which can represent a sender domain, customer, or any other relevant identifier separately from the campaign/job ID. This feature empowers you to monitor queues with greater precision, enabling targeted actions for specific campaigns or senders without affecting the entire queue.
  • Use case: If a particular campaign encounters content-related issues, you can now isolate and address the problem at the campaign level using the Tenant ID, preventing disruptions to other queues.

2. Scaling down or migrating queues faster and easier with hqfmove

  • Overview: Server instance scale-down and queue migration is a critical task that demands accuracy and efficiency. With Halon Engage 13, we have introduced the hqfmove tool, making it easier to migrate queues between hosts.
  • Functionality: This tool streamlines the process of transferring queues from one infrastructure to another, reducing the complexity associated with such tasks. It can be invoked manually or automated.

3. Enhanced Delivery Insights: "Microfixes"

We collaborated directly with our clients to understand the way they use Delivery Insights and what could be improved for a better user experience. By gaining insights into these user patterns we’re introducing a series of microfixes targeted to enhancing the overall experience. These changes will ensure your workflow is smoother and more efficient. They also make it easier to access, interpret, and act on the data you need, in real-time.

4. Support for Amazon AWS SIGv4

Halon Engage 13 now includes support for Amazon AWS SIGv4, a security feature beneficial for logging to OpenSearch. By supporting AWS SIGv4, Halon Engage now ensures that all communications with OpenSearch are securely authenticated and authorized, minimizing the chances of downtime or disruptions. Implementing this new feature helps your business adhere to industry standards, enhancing your company’s reputation as a reliable and secure service provider.

5. Support for PROXY TLV

  • Overview: We've added support for PROXY TLV, enabling the use of AWS or Azure endpoint IDs, particularly useful when using Private Link.

This feature allows you to parse a Type-Length-Value (TLV) vector into a readable format, providing essential data that can help service providers uniquely identify their consumers.

Halon Engage 13 is a significant step forward in improving your email infrastructure's precision, efficiency, and overall functionality. We are confident that these enhancements will greatly benefit your business and deliverability teams. As always, your feedback is invaluable to us—please don't hesitate to share your thoughts on the latest updates.
